Legacy Prairie Centre Member Checklist

Please see below for important member updates regarding our Nov 21-23 transition to one single banking system.

We’re preparing for another major milestone in our merger — connecting all three credit unions onto one Prosperity banking system.

For legacy Prairie Centre Credit Union members, this change includes a few important steps before and after the merger weekend to ensure a smooth transition.

Member Readiness Checklist

Here’s what you can do now to get ready and ensure a smooth transition:

Before Friday, November 21

Send and accept any INTERAC® e-Transfers before November 21st at 5:00pm, or after November 23rd.
Deposit any cheques through the mobile app that you’d like to process before the banking system merger.
Plan ahead for payments:
- Pay any bills due November 22–24 by November 19 to avoid delays.
- Complete any critical banking transactions before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21.
Be prepared: While we expect your debit card to work as usual during the banking system merger, it’s a good idea to have an alternative payment method (like cash or a credit card) available, just in case there are short service interruptions.

After November 24

Here’s what to expect:

If you use the Prairie Centre mobile app, you may be prompted to update to the new Prosperity App on Sunday evening or early Monday, November 24. If your app updates automatically, you don't need to do anything.
